Gutter cleaning and repairs
Blocked gutters overflow, and the water ends up rotting fascia boards, staining walls and getting into the house as damp. A yearly clean is one of the cheapest bits of maintenance you can do.
What a gutter clean includes
- All leaves, moss and silt taken out of the gutters by hand
- Every downpipe checked for blockages, down to ground level
- Small repairs done there and then: leaking joints resealed, loose brackets refixed
- A look at the roof edge, fascias and soffits while we’re up there
- Everything bagged and taken away
We don’t use vacuum systems. Doing it by hand means we actually see the gutters, so we spot cracked sections and sagging runs before they cause a problem.
New guttering
If your gutters are cracked, sagging or just past it, we replace them with new uPVC guttering and downpipes in black, white, brown or grey. New installs come with a 10-year guarantee.
If the boards behind are rotten too, it makes sense to do the fascias and soffits at the same time.
Homes and commercial buildings
Alongside houses, we clean and maintain gutters for schools, nursing homes, warehouses and hotels. We can set up a regular visit so you don’t have to remember.

Gutter questions
How often should gutters be cleaned?
Once a year for most houses, ideally in late autumn after the leaves have come down. If you have big trees close to the house, twice a year is safer.
Do you use a gutter vacuum?
No. We clear gutters by hand from ladders or a tower, which lets us see the state of the gutter, brackets and joints as we go and fix small problems there and then.
What if my gutters are leaking or broken?
Small fixes like resealing a joint or replacing a bracket we normally do on the same visit. If a run needs replacing, we’ll quote for it, and new guttering we fit comes with a 10-year guarantee.
Do you clean gutters on commercial buildings?
Yes. We look after schools, nursing homes, warehouses and hotels as well as houses.
Moss on the roof ends up in the gutters. If yours is bad, it might be worth having a roof clean at the same time.
