Gutter and roof cleaning in East Grinstead
East Grinstead, Crawley and the villages around them are where Tilley’s started out, cleaning gutters and roofs. We’ve grown into a full roofing company since, but gutter cleans are still a big part of what we do round here.
Gutter cleaning and repairs
With Ashdown Forest close by and plenty of woodland in the High Weald, leaves and moss are the usual cause of trouble. We clear gutters by hand, check every downpipe to ground level, and reseal joints or refix brackets as we go. If your gutters are beyond repair, new uPVC guttering comes with a 10-year guarantee.
Roof cleaning
Shaded roofs round here can grow thick moss. We take it off by hand, treat the tiles to slow regrowth, clear the gutters and take everything away. If you have somewhere to put the moss, we knock £40 + VAT off the price. Read how a roof clean works.
Homes and commercial buildings
Alongside houses, we look after gutters for schools, nursing homes and warehouses, and can set up a regular visit.
Also covering
As well as East Grinstead, we work in Forest Row, Ashurst Wood, Hartfield, Crawley Down, Turners Hill, Copthorne, Crawley, Felbridge, Lingfield, Dormansland, Dormans Park and Blindley Heath. See all the areas we cover.

What customers say
We used Tilley's after we moved into a new property with a very mossy roof that needed a thorough clean and check over. Carlos and Danny were fantastic, keeping us informed of progress through the day and doing a very comprehensive job by hand. Everything was left in a really tidy and clean state at the end of the job, despite the amount of moss and other rubbish they managed to clear off the tiles.
I am very pleased with the work carried out on my roof. Tilleys always delivers on service and quality. I always use them for my roof work and gutters.
In response to some small issues outlined on house survey, the guys carried out repairs and cleaned gutters. Took time to explain the work they had carried out. Very polite and helpful. Would highly recommend. Thank you!
